Thinking of becoming a good samaritan, how do you get your Defibrillators online?

Communities wishing to include the details of a Public Access Defibrillator Programme on www.irishdefib.ie can do so free of charge. This includes GAA Clubs and other sporting organisations.

We will publish the the locations of your AED's, their access and contact details and photographs of the locations. There is no limit to the amount of defibrillators a community may show.

Simply contact us with the information, this can all be done extremely quickly and simply by e mail.

Charges apply only to businesses that wish to highlight the fact that they have an AED on site for the benefit of their customers and surrounding community. This is a modest annual fee.

To input your community's AED locations the following is required for each unit. This information can be e mailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

What hours is the AED available?

It is difficult to list the opening hours of many businesses, such as hotels, leisure centres and sports halls as they are not open uniform hours all year round. When you cannot be certain you may say things like: Hotel Hours. This gives the reader an inclination of the hours the AED is readily accessible. We would be happy to help with this if required.

How is the AED accessed?

It is 24 hour, public access?

Is a key / code required? We only wish to know how to get the key or code, ie, all local businesses have it.

Is it a responder scheme with volunteers on call, what is the contact telephone number?
